Final Year Image at ESMA LYON
Hi! I'm back with this render I did at the end of my very first year learning CG at ESMA. It was an incredibly intense 10 months full of learning, knowledge and self growth. It was a very interesting project because we had to follow every steps of the pipeline for the first time: from the concept to 3D and every steps in between.
We had three weeks to create our own vision of a bar in 3D. I decided to go for a sweet, latin atmosphere. I based my work on a real restaurant called Chica in Miami. I've never visited the place but when i was browsing for references, I really liked its overall mood: luxurious and fancy but also in for a good evening of fun. So I added my own personal touch to it and changed to fit my perspective of a bar.
The first render is during the beginning of the night, it's still slow, there are not a lot of people, you can hear jazz music and celebrate with amazing cocktails and very fine alcohol.
The second render is at the end of a night, it's very messy, there was a lot of dancing, celebrating, laughing taking place in this new point of view where you can imagine the exit on the right of the skull light, invinting you to go home.
I'm very happy with how this project turned out, and excited to show you how much progress I made in one year!
